Our Story
A Simple Friend Request Led to Forever
Our love story is a beautiful testament to God’s grace, faithfulness, and perfect timing.
What began with a simple friend request on Instagram would soon become the beginning of our forever.
After exchanging a few messages, Jacob decided that talking through a screen simply wasn’t enough—he needed to meet Kheren in person. So, in July 2025, he made his way to Truevine Church to see her.
They may not have interacted quite as much as Jacob had hoped that day, but that certainly didn’t stop him. As soon as Kheren left a young adults group hangout later that evening, a message from Jacob was already waiting for her.
From there, their conversations grew longer, deeper, and much more intentional. It quickly became clear that something special was unfolding.
Not long after, Jacob made the trip to take Kheren on their first date. Kheren still remembers watching him get out of his car and walk around to open the door for her. In that simple moment, she felt an overwhelming certainty in her heart:
This is the man God prepared for me. This is my husband.
And Jacob felt it too. During that trip, he knew Kheren was the woman he had been praying for.
Through every conversation, every trip, and every moment that followed, God continued to confirm what they had both felt from the beginning.
And now, surrounded by the people we love most, we’re stepping into the next chapter of the story God has written for us. We’re so happy you’re here to witness this beautiful moment in our lives!
